Math Boot Camp

Enjoy our fun-filled approach to Math where campers can even draw on our walls! Every Math Camper takes an individual Zane Math Assessment so we can customize a math program for each child from our 14,000 math problems database. Accelerate in math and avoid the summertime slide. We make math so fun and easy to understand that kids can’t wait to come back.Camps for Kids in Grades K-2, 3-5 and 6-8.

Engineering: Mechanical Engineering Lab

Our Mechanical Engineering Lab is perfect for younger learners who are just getting started with LEGO. Students get an introduction to levers, inclined planes, pulleys, screws, and complete challenges in teams. Learn how simple machines are all around us (the flagpole at school, the wheelbarrow in your backyard, The seesaw at the playground!) and how they're used to make complex tasks easier to do. Camps for kids in grades K-2 and 3-5.

Engineering: Robotics for Beginners

Dive into the exciting world of robotics and coding! This camp turns learning into an action-packed adventure with Blockly, a super user-friendly visual coding language, and the fun, interactive Dash Bot. Your child will unlock the magic of coding as they program robots to move, play, and even solve challenges. They’ll master key concepts like variables, loops, and logical expressions—all while having a blast creating their own projects. Camps for Kids in Grades K-2.

Engineering: Robot Inventors

Design multiple prototypes to find the most effective way to move a robot without using wheels or test the efficiency of two different grabber designs. In Robot Inventors Camp, you get to combine colorful LEGO building elements, easy-to-use hardware, and an intuitive drag-and-drop coding language based on Scratch. Let our Instructors and SPIKE Prime engage your child through fun, real-world learning activities to think critically and solve complex problems. Let your kids become the innovative minds of tomorrow! Camps for Kids in Grades 3-5 and 6-8.

Engineering: Electronics Lab

Get charged up! Campers will be introduced to the basic properties of electricity and electronics. Learn the fundamentals behind circuitry and how circuits are used in the technological devices we use today. Kids will be able to create circuits to shine a light bulb, spin a motor and produce sounds. Camps for Kids in Grades K-2 and 3-5.

Engineering: Build It Brigade NEW!

Ready to roll up your sleeves and build something amazing? Join the Build It Brigade and embark on an engineering adventure like no other! This hands-on camp is all about creativity, innovation, and problem-solving as campers design and construct their own engineering projects. From bridges to roller coasters to eco-friendly inventions, the possibilities are endless! Campers will work in teams to tackle real-world challenges using a variety of materials and tools, learning about the principles of engineering, physics, and design along the way. Camps for Kids in Grades K-2 and 3-5.

Engineering: RoboQuestNEW!

Get ready to delve into the world of robotics at RoboQuest Camp, where campers can build, program, and bring robots to life! This hands-on camp is tailored for both budding young builders and advanced tech enthusiasts, offering age-appropriate activities to spark curiosity and creativity.

For our younger explorers (Kids in Grades 1-3), the camp features interactive programming with Dashbots. Campers will learn foundational coding concepts using fun, easy-to-use platforms as they guide their robots through obstacle courses, challenges, and creative adventures.

For older campers (Kids in Grades 4-6), the challenge ramps up with LEGO Spike Prime. They'll delve into advanced robotics, engineering, and coding, designing and programming robots to complete complex tasks and solve real-world problems.

From coding basics to advanced engineering, RoboQuest offers something for everyone. Campers will develop critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while having an absolute blast with robotics!

Game-Based Learning: Minecraft Explorer

Game-Based Learning using Minecraft™ capitalizes on the love you already have for the game as we explore math (like Cartesian coordinates) to navigate while working together with friends to accomplish group missions. Explore real science and engineering concepts like biomes and gravity playing a game you love. Camps for Kids in Grades K-2, 3-5 and 6-8.

Game-Based Learning: Minecraft Galaxy

Game-Based Learning using Minecraft™ capitalizes on the love you already have for the game as we explore the galaxy! Learn about Earth's oceans and undersea life with the Oceancraft mod, and explore space with the Galacticraft mod. Design and build rockets that travel to the moon, International Space Station, and even Mars. The final camp culminates with a team-building space rescue! Camps for Kids in Grades K-2, 3-5 and 6-8.

Game-Based Learning: Minecraft Architectural Design

In Architectural Design, students learn the basics of urban planning and building design. Explore real-world architectural landmarks through Google Maps & Street View, then take that knowledge and apply it to designing a cityscape using Minecraft™ and Tinkercad. Students will research and collect examples of interesting or unusual buildings from around the world and explore why these buildings are unique. Following their research, students will plan, design and build their own examples of amazing architecture in Minecraft! Camps for Kids in Grades 3-5 and 6-8.

Games Based Learning: Minecraft Engineering & Design

Campers explore the inner workings of manufacturing and heavy industry, ranging from baseline resource gathering to advanced metal production. With the simplified tools provided by Minecraft, students set up working facilities to create products from raw materials, and set up a logistics network that can efficiently move items to where they are needed. Camps for Kids in Grades 3-5 and 6-8.

Game-Based Learning: Minecraft Physics

Embark on an adventure into the realm of physics through this innovative camp! Dive into the captivating realm of Newton’s Laws, mechanics, and thermo-dynamics in a gamified setting. Engage with intricate concepts including fluid physics and electromagnetics, all within the immersive landscape of Minecraft. Our camps are tailored to ignite the curiosity of kids, offering a stimulating journey through the world of science and gaming. Camps for Kids in Grades 3-5 and 6-8.

Game-Based Learning: Minecraft Planet Earth QuestNEW!

Campers step into the natural world as incredible creatures like great white sharks, Arctic wolves, and musk oxen. They explore survival challenges as predator and prey, uncovering the delicate balance of ecosystems. Starting at the Planet Earth Field Station, campers choose biomes, study wildlife, and embark on customized activities. By assuming animal roles, students learn survival strategies, ecological balance, and the importance of preserving habitats. This immersive experience fosters empathy and a deeper understanding of life's interconnectedness. Camps for Kids in Grades K-2, 3-5 and 6-8.

Game-Based Learning: Kerbal Space ProgramNEW!

Get ready to launch into a planetary adventure at KSP camp! Space enthusiasts step into the shoes of an astronaut, engineer and scientist as they design, build, and launch their own spacecraft in the world of Kerbal Space Program. Using this exciting space simulation game, campers will explore the mysteries of space, from orbital mechanics to landing on asteroids. Campers work in teams and individually to solve engineering challenges, create custom rockets, and explore new worlds, all while learning the science behind space missions. Camps for Kids in Grades 3-5 and 6-8.

Game-Based Learning: Minecraft Redstone Lab

It’s electrifying! Redstone is the circuit equivalent in Minecraft that allows students to use electrical engineering concepts to create complex machines such as a clock or a calculator. In Zaniac’s Redstone Lab program, students will learn about inputs, outputs, logic gates and more through the latest version of Minecraft. Using their creativity and critical-thinking skills, students will help scientists solve electrical challenges throughout the laboratory. Camps for Kids in Grades 3-5 and 6-8.

Game-Based Learning: Chess

Chess Camp helps your child develop strategic thinking skills critical to success. Chess helps develop higher order thinking skills, enhances creativity, and improves memory—while giving your child a leg up at school. Camps for Kids in Grades K-2, 3-5 and 6-8.

Coding: Scratch Coder

Intro to Scratch teaches programming concepts such as sequences, loops, iterative development, and debugging using a modern, block-based approach. Students create animations and videos to share with friends and family. Camps for Kids in Grades 3-5 and 6-8.

Coding: Computer Science Lab with micro:bits

Get an introduction to coding and computer science by way of making and design, using the new micro:bit microcontroller board, and Microsoft’s easy and powerful MakeCode block-based coding environment. It is a project-based curriculum with a maker philosophy at its core; the idea is that by making physical objects, students create a context for learning the coding and computer science concepts and using interesting problems that students want to solve! Camps for Kids in Grades 3-5 and 6-8.

Coding: Python Coder

Students will learn about turtles—little arrows students use to program. Students will use turtles to learn loops, methods to make drawing numbers/shapes easier, and conditionals which change the way the turtle will move based on what they tell it to do. These techniques will help students learn how python works, and how to program, while keeping it fun. Camps for Kids in Grades 3-5 and 6-8.

Coding: Makey Makey

Campers dive headfirst into the exciting world of invention, exploration, and hands-on learning. Makey Makey technology revolutionizes the way we interact with the world around us, empowering campers to transform everyday objects into extraordinary inventions. Engage in a series of stimulating challenges and creative projects, from turning bananas into piano keys to transforming playdough into game controllers, the possibilities are endless! Learn the principles of circuits, coding basics, and design thinking while creating your own unique inventions. Camps for Kids in Grades 3-5 and 6-8.

Coding: CodeQuestNEW!

Embark on an exciting journey into the world of programming at CodeQuest Camp, where kids of all ages can unlock their creativity and develop essential coding skills! This dynamic camp is tailored to meet the needs of both budding young coders and more experienced tech enthusiasts.

For our younger explorers (Kids in Grades 1-3), the camp introduces coding basics through fun, interactive platforms like Scratch, Tynker, and Blockly. They'll create games, animations, and interactive stories, learning foundational concepts such as loops, variables, and conditionals in a visual and beginner-friendly way.

For older campers (Kids in Grades 4-6), the adventure continues with advanced Scratch projects that challenge their creativity and critical thinking. They'll dive deeper into programming concepts, tackle complex challenges, and bring their innovative ideas to life through exciting projects.

Whether they're new to coding or ready to take their skills to the next level, every camper will discover the joy of problem-solving, collaboration, and digital creativity.

Art & Design: 3D Printing & Design

Learn advanced, professional level 3D modeling and CAD techniques! With an emphasis on functional design and robust modeling, students will learn the specifics of how 3D Print & Design is used today. Learn about the software used in college design and architecture classes, slicer software and how to alter your own print settings. Campers will design and create a print* each day. *Prints will not be ready on the same day.Camps for Kids in Grades 3-5 and 6-8.

Art & Design: Digital Media featuring AI NEW!

Embark on a digital odyssey with Digital Media Camp, where technology and creativity reach new heights. Campers join forces on interdisciplinary projects, unraveling the mysteries of 3D Printing, composing beats with GarageBand, coding digital wonders with Scratch, and now, venturing into the cutting-edge realm of artificial intelligence. Alongside mastering traditional tools, your young media enthusiast will also delve into the fascinating world of AI with the incorporation of ChatGPT, Chatbots, Machine Learning, and Face Sensing. As they navigate the digital landscape, they'll not only express themselves creatively but also harness the power of AI to elevate their projects to new dimensions. Art & Design: Fashion Design

Design one-of-a-kind looks using digital modeling and create custom, wearable accessories through 3D printing. Explore color theory and use the open-source vector graphics software Inkscape. Assemble your own custom garment designs by assembling mood boards, drawing vectors, arranging nodes, and layering color palettes. Something for every taste—from dresses to sports gear! Camps for Kids in Grades 3-5 and 6-8.

Art & Design: GarageBand Music Lab

Get hands-on experience with real-world music production equipment and bring your song ideas to life! GarageBand® Music Lab is the perfect primer for beginners who want to learn the basics of one of the most popular and accessible DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) programs out there. Starting with the basics of musical notation and form, students work through looping, editing, sound manipulation, and capturing vocals and MIDI instrumentation to create their own music. Unleash your musical creativity!Camps for Kids in Grades 3-5 and 6-8.

Science: Kitchen (Crazy) Chemistry

Join us for the most delicious week of the summer! Do you know what makes something soft or hard, or a solid, liquid, or gas? Chemistry tells you. We’ll make goop, cause chemical reactions, create yummy treats and munch, munch more! Each activity will illustrate an important chemistry concept. Camps for Kids in Grades K-2 and 3-5.

Science: Eco-Explorers

Calling all young adventurers! Join us for an unforgettable camp filled with exploration, discovery, and eco-friendly fun! Through hands-on activities and interactive lessons, campers will uncover the secrets of the ecosystem, learn about biodiversity, and engage in sustainable practices that nurture our planet. Observe wildlife in their natural habitats and learn about conservation efforts that make a real impact. From nature hikes to wildlife observation, each day is a new adventure! Science: It’s a Bug’s LifeNEW!

Get ready to dive into the fascinating world of insects at It's a Bug's Life: Junior Entomologists Camp! This camp is designed for young nature enthusiasts eager to explore the incredible lives of bugs, beetles, butterflies, and beyond. Campers become true entomologists, discovering the amazing role insects play in our ecosystem and learning how to observe, study, and even interact with them developing a love and respect for the insect world. They will discover just how essential these tiny creatures are to the environment. Campers will embark on exciting bug hunts, build their own insect habitats, and participate in hands-on experiments to learn about insect behavior, anatomy, and life cycles. They'll explore the wonders of the insect world through magnifying glasses, microscopes, and creative crafts, while gaining a deeper understanding of the important role bugs play in nature. Science: NanoTech Explorers & AdventuresNEW!

Get ready for a summer filled with discovery, innovation, and fun! In NanoTech Explorers: An Adventure in Nanotechnology, young scientists dive into the incredible world of nanotechnology—the science of the super small that's changing the world in big ways. From creating nanobots to experimenting with invisible coatings and super-strong materials, kids will learn how nanotechnology is revolutionizing medicine, engineering, and even space exploration. Science: Space ScienceNEW!

Do you have what it takes to be an astronaut? Join us as we explore space through the eyes of an astronaut. Let’s learn more about the planets, moods, stars and space technology. Travel our solar system and participate in real astronaut-training activities, including living in space. Explore the technologies that space scientists and astronauts use, including lunar rovers and robotic arms. Using what you have learned in this class, will you be able to survive in space? Multiple Cancellation or Rescheduling Options Available.

Please Note: Our Summer Camps sell out and flexibility becomes a challenge as the summer gets closer. We have made necessary changes to our cancellation policy with that factor in mind. For camps between June 1 and August 31: For cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the start date of camp, the customer has the option of either (i) having the amount paid refunded less a cancellation fee of $75 per camp (or the total amount if it is less than $75), or (ii) having the amount paid added as a credit to your Zaniac account. For cancellations less than 30 days prior to the start date of the camp, there is no refund or credit (with the specific exception that if the cancellation is due to the camper’s documented COVID-19 diagnosis or quarantine order then the customer will receive credit to their Zaniac account of the amount paid less a cancellation fee of $75 per camp). Any amount credited will be maintained as a credit on your account and can be used for any future purchases made within 1 year of the cancellation. Your credit is transferable to any family member.
