At Zaniac, we partner with homeschool parents to enrich and supplement your science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) curriculum for your grade K-8 students.

STEAM Workshops
Zaniac hosts customized STEAM workshops for homeschool students at convenient times for your family. We provide a safe environment to ignite your child's love of learning.
3D Printing
Tuesday, February 7, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Learn and apply the fundamentals of 3D Printing. Utilizing the Computer Aided Design (CAD) program TinkerCAD, students will work through the design process before printing their projects on the 3D Printer. Students get to take home their designs!
Robotics: LEGO®
Tuesday, March 7, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Learn Robotics using LEGO’s latest MINDSTORMS EV3 system to build and program complex robot systems. Develop critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 makes building, programming, and commanding your own LEGO robots smarter, faster and more fun than ever!
Tinkering: Intro to Circuits
Tuesday, April 4, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Learn the basics of electronics using littleBits® which magnetically snap together to build projects. Learn about basic inputs, outputs, analogs, electricity, and more! Zaniac instructors focus on a student’s learning through hands-on prototyping, putting the power of electronics in their hands!
Computer Programming: Intro to Scratch
Tuesday, May 2, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Learn the fundamentals of modern coding with Scratch. Students learn to think creatively, work collaboratively and reason systematically. Scratch is designed and maintained by the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab.

Parents’ Night Out Events – We host two per month from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at $24 per child. Each month features a different theme and featured activity. As always, our Parents’ Night Out Events include Tinkering, Game-Based Learning: Minecraft and other games. A snack is also provided. See our full calendar of upcoming Parents’ Night Out Events.
